Our vision is a pilot corps that reflects the people of Washington state by increasing the diversity of state licensed pilots and creating a culture of belonging where all perspectives are valued and welcomed. 

We believe that a culture of belonging is essential to embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as fostering trust and engagement. 

Our top priority is safe pilotage in Washington state. In addition to a highly specialized and effective training program, strict rest requirements, focus on safe pilot transfers, and other safety-first initiatives on and off the water, we believe that safety stems from trust and engagement.  

We strive for every pilot, pilot trainee, applicant, aspirant, and employee to see Washington state pilotage as a place where they belong and are reflected.
